NEW BUILD SNAGGING

New build snagging is an inspection of a new property prior to completion to identify faults and issues present not picked up by the developer. The inspection examines in detail the external and internal fabric of the building and the finish of the surfaces from brickwork to internal joinery as well as tiling and associated sealing around showers, baths and basins.

The report format allows each defect to be allocated to a specific trade such as a joiner or decorator or general builder enabling the client to forward the report to the builder/developer to use as a schedule of works and complete the remedial works more efficiently.

As a member of the RPSA we have a published set of 'New Build Inspection and Reporting Standards' consistent with the guidance issued by the 'New Homes Quality Board'.
