Level 2 Survey

Delivered by a fully accredited RICS residential property surveyor, and often referred to as to as a Home Buyers Report or Home Condition Survey. The Level 2 survey gives you a clear, concise and jargon free report on the condition of the property, using a simple 1,2,3 rating guide to allow the homebuyer to make a prompt and informed decision.

The Level 2 survey report is suitable for standard size properties of conventional construction in generally good condition.


Level 3 Survey

Carried out by a qualified RICS Surveyor, the Level 3 survey is a Building Survey and is the most comprehensive inspection offered. The report covers the property’s construction and condition as well as highlighting existing and potential defects. The Level 3 survey allows the surveyor to provide repair and ongoing maintenance advice appropriate to the age, type or design of property that the homebuyer might need to be aware of and perhaps plan for.

The Level 3 survey is more suited to older or larger properties or those of non-standard construction or modified or period properties where years of variable standards of maintenance needs to be assessed and understood.
